Organization Information

Name : Ninety Eighty-Eight
Description : Nationally recognized (by ASID & IIDA) professional interior design organization for interior design students.
Purpose : To help students gain real world experience in the interior design industry as well as building professional relationships and networking skills to better prepare them for the professional world.
Membership Requirements : Any student enrolled as a candidate for a degree or certificate in interior design or architecture in a minimum two-year program at a college or university that houses an ASID student chapter, and who plans on meeting the minimum 40 semester hours or 60 quarter hours in interior design and/or related classes, may become a student member. Students may join at any time during their enrollment and are not required to have completed their first year in order to be eligible. Those students not enrolled in an interior design or architecture program at an ASID/IIDA student chapter's school may not, at any time, become members of an ASID or IIDA student chapter (Nineteen Eighty-Eight).
