Name : Bat Association at Texas State
Description : 1. To involve students in hands-on work experience and teach skills applicable to the research of bats. 2. To provide opportunities for students to network with and learn from professionals in various fields involving bats. 3. To educate students and the general public about the benefits, natural history, and conservation of bats through community interaction.
Purpose : To promote conservation and awareness of bats through scientific research, educational outreach, and field work experience.
Membership Requirements : All Texas State students who are interested and seek knowledge, experience, and involvement in the natural world are welcome to join the society. Dues of the society will be required for active membership. The amount of $5 will be charged per semester for those wishing to be an active member.
