Name : FLIP at Texas State
Description : The First-Gen, Low Income Partnership at Texas State student organization will provide students a support system from other first-generation students, staff, and faculty. It will also help First Gen Low Income students connect to the community through community service, resources Texas State offers, and social activities.
Purpose : This organization will provide a welcoming and supportive environment for first generation college students as they navigate their way through college.
Membership Requirements : Membership is granted to current or perspective students of Texas State University who are interested in connecting with other first-generation students, staff, and faculty. FLIP does not discriminate against qualified members on the basis of their ability, age, color, creed, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status. We are open to all sexes of students unless protected by Title IX.
