Name : Archaeology Club
Description : We are a group of anthropologists who want to learn more about the exciting field of archaeology, with a mixed bag of varying specialties which will provide diverse and wide-ranging types of experience and information
Purpose : a) Expose students to the exciting field of archaeology. (b) Promote participation in professional meetings through presentations and publications resulting from the experiments performed as part of the club. (c) Promote the preservation and conservation of archaeological materials and sites. (d) Promote education of the membership and public to the aims of archaeology
Membership Requirements : -Must be a Texas State University Student -Must pay club dues. -Must be interested in Archaeology -Must participate in at least 1 club event
