Name : Sculpture Club
Description : Sculpture Club will build a community of like-minded individuals and give them the opportunity to develop new skill sets, collaborate on group projects, and experiment with a vast range of materials and tools. Club members will also gain exposure to a variety of diverse artists through presentations of their art and interviews, in addition to gaining insight from trips to art galleries, exhibitions, and lectures by visiting artists. Furthermore, Sculpture Club will embody an emphasis on community, which will allow members to participate in fundraisers, sell their art on campus and at local events, as well as engage in group exhibitions.
Purpose : Sculpture Club will establish an outlet for educational experiences within a space where students can engage in community events, learn about sculpture, installations, and three dimentional art, as well as gain inspiration from artists who work in these mediums. Sculpture Club will provide students with experience, inspiration, creative freedom, and the opportunity to display and sell their art.
Membership Requirements : Members must currently be enrolled and registered for classes at Texas State University.
