Description : The Women in Business Association strives to provide present and future women business leaders with a unique forum to exchange ideas. The Women in Business Association presents women an opportunity to gain thought leadership on professional development and issues important to women in today's workforce and offer a significant opportunity for corporations and industry leaders to directly contribute to the development of women leaders in the community.
Purpose : The Women in Business Association at Texas State University strives to increase members' knowledge and involvement of women in the world of business in numerous ways. We seek to provide present and future women business leaders with a unique forum to exchange ideas, provide women an opportunity to gain thought leadership on professional development and issues important to women in today's workforce, and offer a significant opportunity for corporations and industry leaders to directly contribute to the development of women leaders in the community. Members are encouraged to interact with our invited speakers to promote our organization as well as gain an increased understanding of what it is like to have a business career as a woman. Texas State Women in Business Association is open to all McCoy students and actively supports, empowers, and mobilizes women to thrive academically, socially, and professionally for long-term success.
