Name : Hispanic Student Physical Therapy AssociationDescription : Offering networking opportunities for Hispanic physical therapy students with a focus on spreading awareness of PT within the Spanish speaking community.
Purpose : Mission: HSPTA is devoted to increasing the accessibility of health care for Spanish speaking individuals by providing educational, professional, and leadership opportunities to Hispanic physical therapy students. Vision: HSPTA is taking the initiative to strengthen our interpersonal skills, further our professional development, and promote an enriching experience of the Spanish language for the advancement of accessible health care in the Hispanic community.
Membership Requirements : Members must be current Texas State students in good standing with their department and the graduate college.
