Description : Lewk Magazine is a forum for education and inspiring those interested and invested in the world of fashion, lifestyle, and news media realism. We pride ourselves in creating a community that strives to be progressive with our acts to be inclusive and diverse. This organization is a space place for creative enthusiast to explore the always growing industry while pursuing their education.
Purpose : The purpose of this organization is to educate and inform others through journalism and art about the fast-paced world of fashion, everyday lifestyle, and real-world problems. This organization will bring others together, as a community to feel free to be themselves, in a safe environment. We will participate in and host charity events, social events, as well as workshops. We want members of this club to be excited to come to meetings and share their ideas, without judgement. Everyone has a voice in the organization to share their ideas on any topic discussed. Our goal is to be a timeless source of journalism and art that can be passed on throughout the generations of Texas State University.
Membership Requirements : The criteria for selecting members and acknowledging membership would come down to Lewk???s head and editorial management, and an advisors written criteria. Applications for specific roles within the organization will explicitly state the requirements, duties, and qualities. Portfolios will be collected during recruitment and application season to determine the individuals??? skills, it is essentially an opportunity for them to showcase their talents and creativity. Portfolios will be mandatory for editorial roles that including photographers, phot editors, writers, stylists, models, social media, events, . Regular members would simply have to fill out an application and attend recruitment week.
