Name : HealthyCats - Peer Educators
Description : Healthy Cats addresses all 8 Dimensions of Wellness through a variety of meetings, presentations, outreach events, and other engagement. Examples of topics addressed include mental health, sexual health, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, environmental health, study skills, inclusivity, and more.
Purpose : The purpose of this organization will be to promote wellness and influence healthy attitudes and behavior. HealthyCats - Peer Educators offers research-based presentations, professional training, and interactive outreach events so that TXST students can obtain positive healthy experiences during and beyond their college years.
Membership Requirements : Membership is open to all grade levels and majors. No dues required.
