Name : Muslim Student Association
Description : Muslim Student Association is an organization that is open to all. We hope to integrate activities that will include congregational prayers and Muslim cultural activities. This organization aims to inform those who know have common misconceptions about islam and help create more of a community at Texas State that unites muslim students.
Purpose : The purpose of this organization is to develop clear co-operation and understanding among the students of all faiths in general, Muslim students in particular. To promote and support the interests of Muslim students. We also plan to have "Dawah Tabling" weekly at the campus to teach people about Islam and try to eliminate the misconceptions about it. Other than that, we will try to gather muslims amongst events to make them feel united. Events may include dinners, movie nights, picnics and so on.
Membership Requirements : Membership is open to any students of Texas State and faculty members.
