Name : Residence Hall Association (RHA)
Description : The Residence Hall Association is the student coordinating body and umbrella organization for all of Texas State University's individual Hall Councils. This makes it the voice for all on-campus students. RHA offers programming, leadership opportunities, and support for all students who live on campus. Additionally, RHA works closely with the Residence Life staff, and through legislation, is charged with addressing the concerns of all residents and how to make their life on campus change for the better.
Purpose : RHA acts as a liaison between each hall council and Residence Life. It also serves as a foundation, a networking tool, and a mentor for all Hall Councils. It provides a semi-formal meeting for all Hall Councils to attend and share ideas from their halls. RHA also serves as a legislative body that projects the student's voice to the administration.
