Organization Information
Name : Interfraternity CouncilDescription : The purpose of this organization shall be to promote and maintain fraternal ideals, spirit, and leadership among fraternities at Texas State University; promote and insure cooperation among the fraternities, their National Organizations, the University administration, and the community; aid in the development and maturation of individual fraternity members; provide a medium for the exchange of ideas between the various fraternities; coordinate the fraternities in order to make them as effective as possible; and to promote the interest of college fraternities in general.
Purpose : Promote and maintain fraternal ideals, spirit and leadership among fraternities; promote and insure cooperation among the fraternities, their national organizations, the University Admin and the community. Aid in the development and maturation of individual fraternity members.
Membership Requirements : A 2.7 high school GPA or 2.5 collegiate GPA for new members and a 2.7 for member chapters each semester.
