Name : Student Organizations Council (SOC)
Description : SOC hosts events to help promote and support student organizations while also helping students find a way to get involved with an organization on campus. Signature SOC events include the Student Involvement Fair, Risk Management and leadership training, Advisor Appreciation and Boko Awards.
Purpose : As a representative body and a chartered governing council recognized by Texas State the Student Organizations Council (SOC) provides direction and support for all registered student organizations at the university.
Membership Requirements : Consists of five officer positions: president, vice president of funding, outreach Social Media & and 2 event coordinators. Must maintain a 2.50 GPA
