Description : Activities will include monthly meeting with speakers who will share their experiences working in professional media situation, offer advice and answer questions
Purpose : The purpose of this organization will be to inform members of issues concerning freedom of information, as well as other issues in the media. This organization is an outlet for members to gain scholarship and internship opportunities in their chosen fields of journalism.
Membership Requirements : Membership should be print, radio broadcast, public relations majors or minors to garner the most benefit from membership to Society of Professional Journalists.
