Name : American Foundry Society- Texas State Student Chapter
Description : Student led organization that focuses on foundry and metal-casting. We strive to help students garner passion and experience in the metal-casting industry. We aim to connect students with industry professionals and gain networking and employment opportunities.
Purpose : To advance the continued education of metal casting by providing interested individuals with current information that will ultimately benefit the metal casting industry and its customers.
Membership Requirements : Students who are attending Texas State on a preferred full-time basis. Must be registered with American Foundry Society during all semesters in the organization. $20 dues are required when registering with the American Foundry Society through their official website. Dues last 1 year.
