Organization Information
Name : Phi Mu Alpha SinfoniaDescription : A music fraternity focusing on social events, recitals, scholarships, service to the College of Fine Arts, and the community, The Annual Hill Country Jazz Festival, and brotherhood events. Meetings will be held on Sunday's at 6:00pm in the Music Bld. room 214. Elections are held the first week of April.
Purpose : The Object of this Fraternity shall be for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the Advancement of music in America, and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.
Membership Requirements : Prospective and collegiate members must retain a GPA equal to that required by Texas State University-San Marcos for continued enrollment. Dues are $177 per member.
