Name : Metals Guild of Texas StateDescription : Activities will include visits to artists, museum trips and fund raisers.
Purpose : The purpose of this organization will be to further understand and appreciate metals as a medium in contemporary art within the university and surrounding communities, to promote and publicize the Texas State Art Dept. and to provide enhanced educational opportunities in metal for Texas State students
Membership Requirements : Membership is open to students who are currently enrolled, or have completed a metals course at Texas State. This may be waived for honorary members by a favorable 2/3 vote of the total membership.
