Name : Anime Society at Texas StateDescription : Activities will include watching and discussing anime, organizating trips to anime conventions, and other anime-related activities.
Purpose : To advocate the appreciation of Japanese culture by exposing Texas State students to the multifaceted genre of animation called 'anime' and to provide a forum for SWT students to discuss the effects of anime on both Japanese and American culture.
Membership Requirements : Open to all students, faculty, and staff at Texas State and non-student members of the San Marcos community and surrounding area who are interested in anime.
