Name : KTSW San Marcos
Description : KTSW-FM 89.9 is the official radio station of Texas State University, broadcasting to San Marcos and the I-35 corridor stretching from San Antonio to Austin. KTSW is a student run, college indie formatted station featuring music from all genres including, rock, hip-hop, electronic and more. KTSW has several specialty shows, news programs, syndicated shows, talk shows, and is the official station for Bobcat Athletics and Rattler Football broadcasts. KTSW is host to many live music events both on and off campus throughout the year. Purpose : KTSW's vision is to be a reliable, quality-driven source for unique music, news, sports, events and overall content for the San Marcos community and beyond while serving as an educational workshop for Texas State University. Our mission is to build relationships with our staff and audience, entertain and serve the San Marcos community and provide quality content for listeners and followers. Our values include creativity, uniqueness, education, professionalism and communication.
Membership Requirements : Registered TX State student, part-time or full-time, depending on position, 2.0-2.5 term/cumulative GPA depending on position
