Name : Association for Creative, Gifted, and Talented Education-Texas StateDescription : Texas State University graduate student organization for creative, gifted, and talented education
Purpose : The purposes of this organization are to: A. serve as a regionally organized public advocate for the gifted education and teachers of gifted education B. promote awareness of the needs of highly creative, talented, and gifted students C. foster a forum for exchange of information, research, and ideas of its members and surrounding school districts, and D. support, encourage, and disseminate research-based information concerning programming and resources to parents, local schools, and other interested persons.
Membership Requirements : Graduate or undergraduate student in good academic standing
