Name : The Ornithological Society at Texas State
Description : The Ornithological Society at Texas State has three main goals. 1) To provide volunteer opportunities for students to interact with their community through outreach at local events and participation in citizen science. 2) To assist in scientific research that elicits education towards the natural history, conservation, and management of avian species. 3) To create a society that respects and enjoys experiencing the natural world together.
Purpose : To promote conservation awareness of birds and their ecosystems through student led scientific research and local educational outreach.
