Organization Information

Name : Bobcat Build
Description : Bobcat Build was started in 2003 as a way to say Thank You to the San Marcos community. It has now turned into a Texas State University tradition and serves as the largest service project on campus. It is also one of the largest, one-day community service projects in the state of Texas. The name itself symbolizes our goal of strengthening the bond between Texas State University and the community of San Marcos. The students who make up this organization spend a year of planning to bring this university this one big day of service!
Purpose : Bobcat Build envisions this event as an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to focus on the needs of the areas around Texas State. Through campus collaboration and an open line of communication, Bobcat Build will bridge the gap between the Texas State community and the citizens of San Marcos.
Membership Requirements : Open to students with a 2.25 GPA, and must be interested in making a difference in our community.
