Name : Intercollegiate Studies Institute
Description : ISI provides resources for students to discuss and develop an understanding of the ideas fundamental to Western civilization through subjects such as politics, history, philosophy, literature, and economics. Meets weekly to discuss books and readings provided free of charge by ISI.
Purpose : Aid Texas State students in further developing and challenging their beliefs and understanding of Western civilization through engaging with and discussing academic texts provided by ISI.
