Name : Texas State Metals GuildDescription : The Guild serves as a foundation upon which lasting personal and professional relationships are built that will carry on long past members' studies at the University. The Metals Guild strives be an organization with an honorable and regarded reputation both on and off campus, in both the metals community and world at large.
Purpose : The purpose of the Guild is to organize, activate, inspire, and promote metals students and alumni in their academic endeavors, studio practice, and professional careers. The Guild serves to establish a forum in which the metalsmiths of Texas State can discuss studio and professional concerns, and can collaborate in activities and events to support and promote themselves, their craft, and their program of study.
