College Diabetes Network Texas State Chapter Special Interest  The Texas State Chapter of the Diabetes Link is open to anyone interested in learning about life with Type 1 Diabetes. It is geared towards support and community for Type 1 Diabetics attending college. It focuses on providing information about how to handle Diabetes in college, the transition into college, how to combat problems with diabetes, sets up a community of support amongst diabetics and helps give information about events happening with the College Diabetes Network on the national scale. It helps with advocacy, promotes healthy habits, a chance to connect with other diabetics, and a system to make friends with those sharing experiences with their diabetes. It also helps provide information on where to look for a new provider as we transition out of pediatrics, new equipment, trials for medical research, chapter events and fundraising, and much much more. Texas State Wake Recreational  Texas State Wake is a club that allows offers members the opportunity to wakeboard or wakesurf, both behind the boat and on the cable. The Wildlife Society at Texas State University Professional  The Wildlife Society at Texas State University is a professional development student organization that aims to help wildlife biology students gain important experience and knowledge in order to enhance their abilities within the wildlife biology profession. Students will have the opportunities to work side by side with professionals in the field, learn from guest speakers, and work on projects to benefit the local community, campus and wildlife. Students will also have the opportunity to network both with students of the same interests and with wildlife professionals.
